Health Coaching Session

Are you looking for someone who will help, motivate and support you in achieving your health and wellness goals?

A health and wellness coach is your partner for as long as it takes to achieve your health goals. The great thing, though, is that you’re in control of this journey. The coach is there to guide, listen, encourage, hold you accountable and help when needed. Your coach empowers you to get the best results possible, but you’re always in charge.

Who benefits from health coaching?

We work with people who:

  • Want to lose weight, get fit, or improve their diet;
  • Struggle with sleep issues, low energy or stress;
  • Have a poor work-life balance;
  • Want to improve their overall wellness and prevent disease; or
  • Need help with a specific medical issue that requires compliance and monitoring.

How do we work?

First off, we’ll need an initial session to assess your current health and state of well-being. This includes your lifestyle, diet and other factors. Then we’ll work with you to identify your most important wellness goals and help you start figuring out how to achieve them.

After this initial session, you can sign up for one or more follow-up sessions. You can sign up for these sessions one at a time or choose a package at a reduced rate.

What We Don’t Do

As coaches, we don’t tell you what to do, we don’t decide what’s best for you, and we don’t diagnose. This is your journey; our role is to help you set attainable goals and create a plan to achieve them.

We can also help you to get the information you need to make good decisions.

And yes, we can hold you accountable if that’s what you need.

Are we a good fit?

We understand that improving your health or lifestyle can be hard. That’s why it’s important to feel comfortable with the coach you’ll be working with.

Our health coach, Desiree, is certified as a Health and Wellness Coach by AFPA (American Fitness Professionals & Associates); she’s been in the health and wellness industry for many years.

She will be happy to speak with you about your expectations and goals – including what you want from a coach – before you even commit to your first session.

Cost of the Initial Session

The cost of this 60-minute session is R380. The purpose of this session is to get a health history and discuss and identify what you would like to achieve and to translate this into one or more goals.

Individual follow-up sessions are R190 for 30 minutes. These sessions are there to support you in meeting your goal and to help with any challenges that may be getting in the way.

Usually it’s a good idea to have multiple sessions to help to you achieve your goal; changing behavior takes a bit of time. But of course, continuing (or not) is always your decision.

And if you prefer to commit to a monthly package, these are also available on request.

All sessions are done on-line by Zoom, Skype or WhatsApp.

And as long as you’re a client, you’ll have your choice of WhatsApp or email support to help you on your journey.
